I'll stay away...

I’m going to have to agree with the very lovely Anna Wintour. She was quoted on saying “To be honest they are not my favorite”, when asked about the new trend of Harlem pants. As they say both fashion and history repeat themselves. M.C. Hammer made this trend popular in the 80s and now it is making it’s way back around. I think I will have to stay away from this trend. What do you think?

Unlimited Funds

If I had unlimited funds and could purchase whatever I wanted this necklace would be it! What a beauty. The gold and precious stones combination is absolutely stunning; the simplicity of this piece makes it even more desirable. This piece could be absolutely worn with jeans and a t-shirt or could be worn dressed up for a night out on the town. Image how amazing this piece would look with the Tina Tang Endless Summer Hoops.

Run out and buy your Sparkle!

This past week the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection launched. The collection features sparkle, shine, suede, and tons of high fashion. When word of this collection hit the streets lines outside H&M were blocks long; so long in fact that the shoes were completely sold out! Well if you are in the New York area and want to get your hands on this collection you’re in luck. Three of the H&M stores were said to have restocked yesterday. So go ahead ladies and Gents, run out and get your hands on these sparkly beauties.

Luxury brands no longer just for the rich

Well the economy has hit hard especially on Luxury brands. Read on to see where top brands like Chanel and Coach could now be found according to Perez Hilton.

"The Sparkly the Better"

One of the newest trends in Hollywood rite now is sequins. In my opinion the sparkly the better! I think the key for pulling this look off is to not over do it. If you are going to wear a sequined top or a blazer with sequined details the sequins are enough sparkle. So keep your accessories low key. Pairing up your sequins with a simple pair of earrings like these Tina Tang Leaf Spade Earrings would look fierce!

Lucky Shops

This past week (November 5-8) Tina Tang studios took part in the very fun Lucky Shops. For those of you that don’t know, Lucky shops takes place every year in New York city. Hundreds of top designers come together to sell their merchandise for 20%-80% off! This is really amazing for all of the shoppers that come out as well as for all the designers who are lucky enough to take part in this.

The Tina Tang crew had a lot of fun taking part in Lucky Shops and can not wait to do it again next year!

Gothic Edge

Talk about a masterpiece! This clutch really is a work of art and the gothic theme is so McQeen! I love the fact that although this clutch is edgy it is not overdone. Imagine how fierce this would look paired up with this Tina Tang Scull necklace.

Cheap Chanel?

With the economy being the worst enemy of the high end world we are seeing a trend of designers making lower end lines. And now finally my personal favorite Chanel is launching Coco Cocoon. This line was just made public in October. Handbags from this line are very different from the usual Chanel lines of the past. The question now is will the loyal Chanel customers go for this line or will they feel this line is possibly diluting the Chanel name?

And the new angels are..

By: Magen Gaboff

I am a HUGE fan of Victoria’s Secret. I personally think that even through this hard economy they are one brand that has not compromised quality for price. Every December is the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show and this year will be no different. The host for the show will be the gorgeous Heidi Klum. With a lot of these “angels” being pregnant or recently giving birth there will be some new beauties to grace the run way this year. Check out the article.

Finally speaking up

Rihanna is finally breaking her silence. It’s about time!

Classic Beauty

By: Magen Gaboff

When it comes to following trends Lauren Conrad is always on top of things. Teen Vogue.com asked if her look (pictured) was a hit or a miss. I am going with a hit! She looks great, relying on classics to make up her look. Pair this look with a classic pearl necklace or a delicate silver necklace and this look would be complete.

The wedding "bib"

The new trend in fashion is the bib necklace. It could be found anywhere from Saks to Forever 21. I personally love these specifically because it gives instant glamour. You could pair it up with a plain black or white shirt and automatically look dressed to go anywhere.

Well, this trend has now made it over to bridal fashions as well. I am not sure if I personally would wear these necklaces on my wedding day especially being that I love very high fashion extravagant dresses. These necklaces are definitely for a more low key plain dress. I have to admit I still feel most comfortable with the classic strand of pearls on my wedding day, for example the Tina Tang Seed Bead Pearl Necklace (below).
